Piano Lessons for Beginners
Piano instruction will focus on learning the basics of keyboard techniques as well as rhythm, melody and harmony. Including Scales, Chords, Music Theory, and much more. Students will be able to perform their favorite song at a basic level ranging from classical to pop music.
Piano Lessons for Intermediate
Piano instruction will focus on learning more complex piano music. You will quickly understand the building blocks of music such as scales, rhythm development, chord building, and applying these elements towards creating your own style of playing the piano within a piece.
Piano Lessons for Advanced
Piano instruction will focus on expanding your repertoire and discovering what playing the piano is all about. A wealth of musical knowledge will give you tools to be more creative with your music. All the challenges of piano technique both, physically and musically, will be mastered at the highest level.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Daniel Lauber is an Uruguayan-American pianist, educator and piano technician, born in Mercedes, Uruguay, began studying piano at the age of 6. In 1996, he obtained a Professor of Piano, Solfeggio and Music Theory Diploma from the Institute of Music Education in Uruguay. As a professor of piano he continued to perfect his skills in Montevideo, Uruguay.
A few of Daniel's more significant events include:
In 1998, Daniel entered "Ciudad de Montevideo" a piano competition in which he won a scholarship to perfect his skills with french pianist Pascal Le Corre.
2nd place winner of Piano Competition City of Montevideo (Uruguay) in October 2000.
1st place winner of two piano competitions at "Ateneo de Montevideo" (Uruguay) on October 28, 2001.
Two, 1-year Scholarships for private piano lessons obtained from "Sociedad Uruguaya de Artistas Interpretes" (SUDEI) in 2000 and 2002.
Winner of Juventudes Musicales del Uruguay in 2002.
In 2004 Daniel was selected for a performance scholarship sponsored by the College of Charleston (SC).
He holds a Professor Certificate as well as an Artist Certificate in Piano Performance from the College of Charleston.
Certified Piano Tuner and Repair Technician.
